Barrington Levy - Warm And Sunny Day + 2

A carreira proeminente de Barrington Levy como um vocalista do reggae de alto-classe durou quase duas décadas. Chamado de Canário “maduro” do reggae( 'Mellow Canary')pelo virtude de seu estilo vocal forte, puro, é renomado como o primeiro cantor original da era do dancehall, inspirando muitos imitadores.
Barrington nasceu em Kingston ocidental em 1962, e gravou sua estréia,o único single “"My Black Girl" com um primo em 1977 sob o nome de The Mighty Multitudes . Um ano mais tarde juntou-se a Byron Lee & the Dragonnaires como um cantor de harmonia e exprimiu “"A Long Time Since We Don't Have No Love"” para Barry Biggs no estúdio Dynamic. O Henry “Junjo” Lawes,o produtor, descobriu-o que cantava em um sound-sytem local, e não o desperdiçou nenhum minuto em fazer-lhe exame ao studio Channel One para a primeira dos muitos da batida que escolhe em 1979. Com o Channel One All-Stars - mais tarde para dar forma ao núcleo da Roots Radics - que colocam os ritmos, e o Scientist que mistura os resultados terminados no King Tubby, o cantor novo causou uma direita de sensação do começo, da sensação do começo, usufruindo da fase do dancehall ao mesmo tempo.
